So tonight(well yesterday) Lil Wayne's I Am Music Tour stopped through Baltimore. So pretty much if you follow me on Twitter, then you saw the updates. So I'm not gonna run through the whole show again, just touch on a few things.
Know what..

Successful
"i want it all,
that's why i strive for it,
dis me and you'll never hear a reply for it" - Drake
When you are aiming for the top, you'll always have someone or something trying to pull you back down.
You have brush that dirt off your shoulders.
Playing into their game, can be hazardous to your health.

We All Have A Story...
Have you wondered when you are in public, what's everyone else story? We all see new people each day and they(just like us) have a means of being in a certain place at that time.
Just something to dwell upon.

Friendship Mixed W/ Business.
So for those that watched The Wire, knows of the friendship between Avon Barksdale and Stringer Bell. How they built up the empire that pretty much controlled West Baltimore and the shit that eventually drove them apart.
So my thing is this: At what point do you put friendship aside to protect an investment that has so much involved?

Who Stole The Soul - Classic R&B
1. The O'Jays - Family Reunion: This song is older than me but it still gets people on the dance floor. This was played in Poetic Justice.
2. Earth, Wind, and Fire - Shining Star: Classic. This is my shit right here.
3. Grover Washington Jr. - Knucklehead: An instrumental track that sounds great. Makes me wish I had taken up an instrument while coming up.
4. William DeVaughn - Be Thankful For What You Got: This song has been sampled many times (e.g. Ludacris "Diamond In The Back") Song is great.
5. The Impressions - It's All Right: This track reminds me of the many old school songs about having a great time.

Who Stole The Soul - R&B Soul - 3.12.09
With this series, I'm going to be listening to the R&B Channels on Music Choice and giving my thoughts on them. Tonight's channel was R&B Soul.
1. Brian McKnight - Crazy Love: One of his best songs that I've heard. Just laying back with the one you love and mellowing out.
2. Usher - Here I Stand: One of the few songs that I actually like off this album. I can see this track being a wedding song for years to come.
3. Luther Vandross - Don't You Know That: Classic, Classic, Classic Luther. With a song from him, you can't go wrong. Heavy D sampled this song for one of his hits.
4. En Vogue - Giving Him Something That He Can Feel: Curtis Mayfield wrote this song. I remember the video w/ them being in the night club. The males were a cast of who's who in entertainment.
5. Teena Marie - Marry Me: I didn't even know that she was still releasing music. This was my first time hearing this and I digs it.
6. Bobby Caldwell - What You Won't Do For Love: Song is still a classic. Random Fact: I didn't know that he was white. Thought it was a black dude singing this.. Fooled me.
